The State is in the process of trying to convict you. They are providing you with access and process. You need an attorney to assist you.

You have a right to information that will be brought against you at trial. This is the discovery process. During discovery certain evidence may be excluded.

Discovery is what the State is required to provide to the Defendant's lawyer before a criminal trial. A motion to suppress would be filed if there are constitutional or other legal issues which would exclude any State evidence from the trial. Demand for discovery and inspection is sent pursuant to the Maryland rules which require both the State and Defendant to provide each other any discoverable materials (such as police reports, Defendant's prior record, mitigation evidence, witness statements, alibi evidence, etc.) prior to trial.
