Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
What legal rights do I have and/or what can I do if, I(said defendent) requested a postponement due to a prior court date in another county(chidsupport) both on the same date and same time but the request to postpone the criminal case was denied. The states attorney then requested postponement because the witnesses weren't available and that request was granted, then the judge recused himself.

Hire a lawyer. You are getting the run around because you are obviously trying to represent yourself. Judges will give more courtesy to a lawyer when it comes to things like postponements. You could also have tried to get the child support case postponed, which you likely would have had better luck with.
