getting record expundged

i recieved--name removed--pbj for 2 counts of felony theft and theft scheme 2 years ago, i was told that i must wait 3 years before i can get it off my record. Is this true?

Unfortunately, I cannot give a specific response to your inquiry without being retained and given an opportunity to review your case file.

Further, whether or not a motion for expungement is granted--assuming that you are eligible to file such a motion--will be up to the judge who hears the motion.

The general rule is three years provided you have had no further convictions, nor pending charges, nor present probation. Some PBJs are not eligible for expungement without a hearing in open court. 410-659-7661
