Re: Stet Docket

A stet determination is a docket entry and is discoverable during a background investigation. Your arrest is also discoverable.

This all depends on the nature of the background investigation and the vigor with which it is conducted. If you need specific advice about this matter, please feel free to contact me at (410) 799-9002.

Re: Stet Docket

A "stet" is not a conviction, nor is it a not guilty. It is an agreement between the State and the Defendant that the case will not be tried. Therefore, on a background check it will not appear as a guilty finidng, but if you were arrested, then the arrest will appear, but no disposition.
