Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

does a stet docket count as a non-conviction?

I had a stet docket that has been expunged in the State of Maryland. This was from a marijuana possession when I was 18 years old. I am applying for a job and it asks ''if I have ever been convicted of a crime'' Can I say no? Is a stet docket a non-conviction?

Absolutely! A Stet is not a conviction. If it was expunged, it should not even show up as a stet. It will be completely erased.
