Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Maryland

Discriminatory Behaviors at Work

I am the only black executive male in a majority white firm. Recently, my Supervisor hire a white male and I was asked to train him. It seems like overnight, my Supervisor has started blaming me for his short-comings as he fails to meet deadlines, follow throughs, etc. For example when he fails to meet deadlines or follow throughs, the response is...''both of you need to _________!'' When I fail to meet deadlines my Supervisor Cc: everyone in the Corporation. What type of legal proceedings can I venture toward for correcting these measures?

Re: Discriminatory Behaviors at Work

The proper legal course of action for an employee who finds that his/her employer is discriminating based on race and/or sex is to file a complaint with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (in some cases there are also state and/or local agencies as well that are appropriate). However, many more facts would need to be examined before any determination could be made as to whether your own circumstances warrant the filing of a complaint.

I would be happy to evaluate your facts in greater details. If you like you may call for a brief chat, I can be reached at the number and address listed below.
