Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

my 3 children currently live with their father. we are not and have not ever been married. he has total control over visitation between my children and i. there are times where he refuses to allow me to see my children for weeks at a time. there is no legal custody agreement or any legal documents whatsoever reguarding the custody of our children. what rights do i have as their mother as far as not letting their father take them from my home if and when he lets them come to my house to visit with me? can the police force me turn over my children to their father if i do not want them to go home with him?

Contact me to get appropriate Court orders in place. The police will deal with issues as are presented and, in the absence of Court order, this may not be to the benefit of your children. Although the children live with him, he cannot deny you visitation. Kindly contact me so that we can move forward with acquiring the appropriate custody arrangement that is beneficial for your children.
