Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Child Support

Need to know what can be done about child support being paid for a child that you know has moved out from the parents house and is living elsewhere. Need to know if there is any way I can find out what to do if spouse will not inform me of situation and will not answer calls from me.

Would appreciate reply as soon as possible.

Thanks.

Re: Child Support

The best thing to do would be to file for a modification of support and custody, citing the facts that your child no longer lives with the person receiving the support. However, as in all child related cases, the court must look to the best interest of the child.

I would be happy to discuss this matter with you further if you contact my office for a consultation.
