How can a custodial parent in the state of Maryland have an active child support case closed due to the fact that I reached a direct pay agreement with the non-custodial parent?

You will need to file a Motion to Modify and provide a copy of the agreement in Circuit Court. It would also be helpful to have justification or a good reason for the change. There needs to be a Proposed order provided as well. Once the Order is recorded in Circuit Court the Order needs to be provided to Child Support Enforcement, so they can close their case.
