Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Hi my name is danielle yulfo i will be in court for child support next month my child father wants to get joint custody but i just want him to get visitation rights but then again i don't because he smokes marijuana so i have a fear the when my 11 month old be with him he might hurt him cause he'll be under the influence then i receive ssi so he's going to try to get full custody but he never did anything for our son.

The court will look to the best interest of the child. Therefore, you should have evidence of his pot smoking and your abilities as a parent.

I recommend you hire a lawyer to protect your interests. Check with your county bar association. If you cannot afford attorney fees, there may be a pro bono family law program.
