Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I have joint custody of my children and we are on a week to week schedule. During her week, she does not answer the phone and let me speak to my kids. On my week, she missed one day of speaking to the kids. She sent the police to my house saying she had not spoken to the kids in two days. Am I legally obligated to let her speak to the kids during my week?

What does the child support order state about phone contact during visitation?

To avoid problems, both of you should agree to allow phone contact during the evening.

It is likely if this is taken the court, the court will allow some phone contact. So, if the custody order is silent on the matter, it's better to come to some type of agreement that is beneficial for both of you.
