Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Do i have any legal right to not allow my child to go around her fathers girlfriend who is in back and forth relationship with, and also is on supervised probation for 2nd degree assualting her and pleading guilty, with a court order stating he is not allowed contact with her? we have mediation scheduled for next week in hopes to coming up with a court documented schedule.

I think you have a reasonable basis for seeking that kind of order, especially since the father would be in violation of the civil protection order against him by the girlfriend. You can argue that you don't want your daughter to be exposed to any potential violence between the two of them.
