Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Marraige

I just found out that my first marriage may not have been dissolved before I got married the second time in 1998. What does that mean for the validity of my 2nd marriage? 1st marriage - DC 2nd marriage - MD

Re: Marraige

IF the first is not disolved (ended in divorce or annulment) the second would be invalid.

You will need to get the first one ended (divorce) and then move forward.

I would be happy to discuss your matter further, if interested, please contact my office for a consultation.
