Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

medical payments after separation

My husband and I separated over five months ago. He no longer lives in the household. I carry the medical insurance through work for my husband. He was recently admitted to the hospital with pancreatitis. I am now receiving medical bills in his name only - Am I responsible in anyway to make payment as he refuses to pick up the mail sent to the house pertaining to the incurred costs.

Re: medical payments after separation

Send a letter to the billing departments informing them of his new address and then send the mail you have for him to him certified mail, return receipt requested. Enclose a cover letter to him itemizing what you send. If you have not already filed in the courts for separation, you should do so as soon as possible. Call if you need to discuss.
