Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I am pregnant and will need to seek child support from the baby's father after delivering. I have past addresses and his work place readily available but I do not have his social security number. Will this present a challenge for me in getting an order?

If you have the father's name, address, and work place, this should be sufficient to serve him with papers in a child support matter. During the proceeding, his social security number can be obtained.
