Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

If you have a signed letter and a witness signed it also, Stating

"Ken is not responsible for this loan number xxxx.xxxx xx, this is

all of Cindy's, even if we get divorced".

This was NOT motorized. Will this stand up in court? Have heard

2 different things from the same lawyer I am paying. Very confused.

A notary witness is required for certain documents and I am not convinced that this applies to your situation. It is likely that the agreement will stand without notary.

It appears to me that your attorney has not worked out this aspect of the agreement. Maybe you should consider an independent evaluation.
