Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Stuck between temp order and proposed order

Our signed temp from Jan order got extened in Early sept after our merits hearing in a proposed order, but that proposed order has not been signed and and it wont be signed any time soon becuase exceptions were filed. What do we do in the mean time. Go with the signed order for CS/visitation or go with the proposed order which has a different CS and slightly different schedule. In any case, my ex hasnt paid CS for September. If we go with the temp order, I am to be paid directly. In the proposed order, I am to be paid directly for sept, then wage garnishment starting in Oct via DCSE. Obviously I cant do wage garnishment without a signed order. What should I do. file contempt? Wait on a signed order which could take months? Or go with the current signed order, which is the temp order issued in Jan.
