checking account garnishment

after a judgement has been made what process does the lawyer have to go through to get a garnishment to your personal checking account or to put a freeze on a account without any notice to the checking account holder?

Re: checking account garnishment

File for a writ of garnishment and serve it on the bank. It gets sent to the account holder only after the bank is served. There is a form for this in District Court.
