Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Maryland

I had contractors put in new central air and heat system in my house. We agreed on metal duct work because the ols fiber duct work I had I did not like. I paid 6,000 dollars already but they will not put in the duct work we agreed on. The contract does not specify and I did not catch it. I can not get them to do the right thing and I know from other quotes that I am paying enough for what I wanted. When they ask for the other 6000 dollars do I pay or can I get some help.

I would tell them that it was clear from the discussions prior to the commencework of the work that the project contemplated metal duct work, and if they aren't prepared to install that you will cancel the rest of the contract and hire a substitute. There should have been more specificity in the proposal of course.
