Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Maryland

I want to know if I can file a harrassment case against my neighbor. I live in Baltimore City and my neighbor keeps calling animal control on me because I have 3 pit bulls. I am compling with the city to get a license for the animals. She called again. There are no basis for her claims. I have witnesses to state that my dogs have never harmed anyone in the 10 years I have been here. This is all retaliation because she had to pay for hitting my vehicle.

You can file anything but you'll spend a lot of time and money and probably not accomplish much. Once you get your license, ask animal control to keep a record of her calls and if they end up making a lot of unnecessary visits, perhaps you can get them to warn her off. Of course, it only takes one instance of a dog getting off a leash or out of a yard and threatening or harming someone to cause a problem.
