Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Maryland

my girlfriend was given the results of my blood test over the phone from my doctors' office,by the doctors' nurse.it was not an emergency and they have not contacted me yet to give me my results.the nurse told my girl,that i'm not supposed too do this but i'll give you the results.what can i do on the civil side of this legally.

Take the higher ground and let it go. What are your damages? Are you someone who complains about how litigious our society is? Then let it go.

Even if you pursue this, you would have to prove that you suffered some type of damage as a result of the release. The only thing you will do is have a qualified nurse, which there are a shortage of in this country, fired. Next time you see the nurse, POLITELY tell her that in the future you would prefer that she didn't give your personal/health information out over the phone. I'm sure it won't happen again.
