How can I sue someone living in a different state? I purchased and paid for an item on ebay. The seller never shipped the item nor returned my money as promised. I have all the emails of the seller promising to ship then him promising to return my money. How can I sue for the return of my money?

Ebay has a dispute resolution process. Try that first. If that fails, go to your local court's website for more information on how to file suit and determine jurisdiction over a defendant. Regards,
