Legal Question in Immigration Law in Maryland

Hello, my fiancee and I are getting married this coming month. We are going to apply for him to get his residence through 245a (I think). How long will it take for him to receive his work permit and residency (temp and permanent) and when would he be allowed to travel out of the US?

If your fiancee is in the USA and otherwise eligible for adjustment of status, and not inadmissible -- it could be about 3 months till she gets a work permit, and about 4-6 months until she gets a green card (provided all is properly applied for with sufficient documentation).

She will be able to travel internationally after she becomes a conditional permanent resident.
