Legal Question in Employment Law in Maryland

Job related dispute

during the lunch break i was escorted off the property .

Previously i was instructed not to leave a work area unattended .

So i told my helper i would stay near the area and watch over things because i did not have any lunch and did not want any .All i had was an energy drink.

i sat on 1 of the newly installed benches directly across from my work location.

,a guy in an ATV drove up and told me there was no eating allowed on the property.

I had not been informed of this by my supervisors.

The man on the ATV did not identify himself as an employee of Gaylord or Of Perini ,general contractors

He was wearing a Vally Stream Landscaping company jacket.

I asked him to show me in writing on a paper with the company letterhead.

The guy went ballistic ,got on his radio ,called the police and had me escorted off the property.

I did not want to move because

I was in pain DUE TO AN ACCIDENT I suffered on the job jan 16.

I was doing what my supervisors had told me.

I was not EATING lunch because i did not have any food products.

He was as i later found out ,a PERINI superintendant.

But without identifying himself and with no kind of iDentifying apparel how was i to know who he was
