Legal Question in Employment Law in Maryland

Hello, I quit my job 2 weeks ago with a 2 weeks of notice... Next day I received a message I dont have to come to work anymore and I will get paid in 1 week. I was trying to contact my employer and she ignores my messages and everything else. We didnt sign contract and taxes involved The job was basically to drop her kid off to school. She owes me $180.00. What can I do to get my money back??

A two week notice is just a courtesy. Future employers expect you to provide the notice.

However, employers can go off in a snit because you decide to move on to something better.

You can send a letter certified mail return receipt or priority mail with deliver confirmation to demand your money. Give a deadline of one week. If the employer refuses to pay you, sue in small claims court.
