Legal Question in Employment Law in Maryland

Uncashed Paychecks

I have three paychecks that I never cashed from the year of 2003. Does my boss have any responsibility to honor them or rewrite them.

Re: Uncashed Paychecks

If you earned the money, then you are entitled to it. If the checks are no longer good, the employer has an obligation to re-issue them or pay you in some other way. Call the US DOL, wage and hour division if you need help.

Good luck.
