if it has been 5 years and you still have not recived your settelment is the case still open i would like another lawer to review my case i think my lawer took a large amount of money to make me go away

If the case was settled without your consent there are a host of issues for which you need to speak with an attorney. First, write to your lawyer and ask for the update of your case, a copy of any settlement agreement, if any money has been received, and if not when does s(he) expect to receive it. If s(he) does not respond or has done something against your instructions you should read how to file an attorney grievance in Maryland.(www.courts.state.md.us/attygrievance)
