If I am not mistaken, you are asking about the so-called damages cap which applies to "non-economic" damages. Depending on the year the tort occurred,it goes up every year, according to the statute. This year it is close to or at $700,000. Each yearly increment is I believe $25,000.00. Ask your lawyer to confirm these numbers for you. I don't have the charts in front of me at this time. Thank you and good luck.
