Awol

I went awol From Fort benning, Ga . During basic Training . I have been there since jan 20th,2006 and I was put on profile for 3 months because I broke a bone in my foot. I have not completed no training . I have been Awol for about 2 weeks. What could they do to me if I turn my self back in . Will I get discharged ? Or what punsihment will I recive or how can I get discharged .. I was threatin and hit there @ basic training that is a reason I went awol...

It is important that you return to Ft. Benning and turn yourself in to minimize the possible adverse consequences of going AWOL. You might be separated with an entry level separation, with or without an ART 15 punishment. But the most important thing is that the longer you remain away, the worse the possible outcomes will be. You can tell them what happened to you before you went AWOL. That may or may not make a difference.
