Legal Question in Personal Injury in Maryland

My 19 year old son rearended a 56 year old woman. We are covered by insurance, but it was my car and i want to know iif she can still sue me

If the accident occurred in MD you would not be liable unless at the time your son had the accident he was doing something for your benefit--driving you somewhere, running an errand for you, etc. If the accident happened in DC, you would be liable as the owner unless the son was driving without your permission. But it really doesn't matter, because if she does sue you your insurance will protect you.
