I was in a car accident in 2005 I think the case is finally settle and my lawyer and I are waiting for the check. I'm in dire financial need at the moment, not geting much help with cash advancement websites, especially since the case is already settled

If the case is in fact settled, it should only take a few days--a week at the most--for the lawyer to receive the settlement check. Then you would typically go to the lawyer's office, sign some papers and walk out with your share of the settlement.
