Legal Question in Personal Injury in Maryland

I found through a google search, that nude pictures of me are posted on a website, along with my full name, and email address. It worries me because I have no idea who posted them but they are literally for everyone to see. I am very embarressed by it. Half of the pictures were of when I was barely 18. I have tried contacting the person/company who started the site but they are ignoring all my emails and not taking the material down. I do not know what else to do. I need these materials removed. Please help.

I STRONGLY recommend that you consult a Maryland personal injury lawyer to sue the poster of these pictures. The tort of invasion of privacy is the best means to recover in civil court in the state of Maryland.

The tort of invasion of privacy offers potential plaintiffs hope of recovering damages for mental suffering, shame or humiliation for the unwarranted appropriation or exploitation of one's personality, publicizing one's private activities with which the general public has no legitimate concern, or wrongful intrusion into one's private affairs.

I suspect that a strongly worded letter from an attorney on law firm letterhead will result in your pictures being taken down immediately. If not, time to go to Court. Don't fear, this can be resolved.

Best of luck.******The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******
