Am I responsible for damages done to a car when it hit my dog?
My dog ran out in the street and a man hit my dog. (I'm not sure yet if there were any eye witnesses). He wants me to pay for the damages caused to his car. Am I responsible?

Unless the dog had a propensity to run into the street after cars, and you failed to control him from doing so, you're not responsible, in my opinion.
