Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

Code Inspection Enforcement.

Is it illegal to have a recliner or a refrigerator outside of a house that I own? On my back porch, I have a recliner that has been outside for the last year, which I sit in and keep in pretty good shape. Also, I bought a new fridge, and put the old one on my back deck, where I keep drinks and beer, etc... So I just got a notice from the Code Inspection and Enforcement Division of Baltimore County saying that I will be fined $200 unless I remove them from my yard. Doesn't seem right to me.

Re: Code Inspection Enforcement.

Apparently there is a county ordinance that they feel you are violating. Probably a neighbor complained about it. You should contact the inspector who sent you the notice to get more information, including what ordinance or regulation you have run afoul of.
