Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

I have a house in MD that is in Foreclosure and a home in SC that is paid for. Is teh second home safe from any actions by the mtge co?

If there is a deficiency in the sale of the house, the company can sue for the balance. If they obtain judgment, and you don't pay, the company can garnish your wages and place a lien on your assets, including your South Carolina house.
