When Is the latest that I can file a chapter 13 bankruptcy during a forclosure

I need 4 months to get the funds together to bring my mortgage pymts up to date. I need the 4 months to show that I can continue to make timely mortgage pymts from then on.

I'm not exactly sure what the four month periods are that you are referring to, but you can file Ch. 13 in MD up to the point that the foreclosure sale (auction) takes place. But by that time the costs of advertising, etc., are added to the amount due, so it becomes more costly if you wait that long.
