property dispute

I own a Townhouse with an ex, and need to know the legal avenue to take to force a sell.

If the ex does not agree, and if the divorce decree or settlement agreement does not specify, then you need to file suit for sale in lieu of partition. The court will order the sale.

If there is no agreement, then you would have to petition the Court for a sale in lieu of partition. At which time the Court will order a sale and appoint a trustee for the sale of the property.
