can a real estate and mortgage company be sued for fraud? Under what circumstance?

Fraud is defined as a knowing mispreresentation of a material fact upon which the person to whom the representation was made relied in the transaction. If the realtor or mortgage companies committed these acts to your detriment, you would have a claim for fraud.
