Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

Renter's Rights

I have several concerns with my present landlord. While my lease is signed by her, it's her father who owns the house, so I am unsure of who to address these issues with. She has made several changes to our rental agreement and is no demanding that I complete a chore list. I need to know what course of action I may take.

The daughter is presumably acting as her father's agent, so you can deal with her. However, once a lease is signed neither party can unilaterally make "changes" during the period of the lease. If you didn't agree to do "chores" in the lease, you're under no obligation to undertake that now.
