Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

I requested finacial information from the condominium association where I live per Maryland Condominium Act sec 11-116. It has been over 2 months and I have not received a response. What recourse do I have?

You should be proactive and contact the management office about this, to try and set up a time for you to review the records. If they continue to stonewall you, your only recourse would be a lawsuit.

Over the years i have represented homeowners in common ownership communities many many times in litigation including at the courts of appeal. If they won't respond, then your option is to file a lawsuit and seek injunctive relief and damages (depending on the language in your homeowners association documents).
