Status of Limitation

If a person live in a Homeowner association and they erected a fence with approval from the builder before transition. Now, two years after transition the new board want the fence taken down. Is there a status of limitation?

A statute of limitation is not a basis upon which such an inquiry would be analyzed. More applicable is to discern whether the improvement is grandfathered or otherwise not modifiable through the by laws and other documentation giving existence to and controlling upon actions of the association.
