Legal Question in Securities Law in Maryland

Tonight I was threatened by a co worker. She told me she was going to kick my ass and she would wait for me in the parking lot until I finished my shift. The company is on my side in the matter and will be taking action against the co worker. A few customers who were witnesses told me to get a peace order and file charges against her. Are there charges I can file and if so is it even worth it to file them?

Yes. It is worth it to file charges -- assault, menacing. That way there is a record if anything happens in the future. Your employer should fire the co-worker IMMEDIATELY. There should be no second chances as she's a potential threat in the work place. Protect yourself and be aware of your surroundings at all times.

Best of luck.******The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.******
