Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Maryland

Unlawful videotaping

I just found an article on the internet regarding the arrest of a photographer who secretly videotaped women while they were changing clothes for a photoshoot. I know he shot some photos of me, and I'm afraid he has video of me as well. Can I sue him? What should my first step me?

Re: Unlawful videotaping

Depending on the circumstances, if there's video (or photos for that matter), you may have a claim.

Maryland has several specific laws that might apply to your situation, and there are some more generalized privacy claims that could also apply. I am handling a similar case right now, and there is a certain amount of complexity to the case that leads me to suggest that your very first step should be to contact an experienced attorney who can advise you based on the specific facts of your situation. Feel free to contact me directly if you have questions.
