Legal Question in Social Security Law in Maryland

My mother has medicare and they take out 104 dollars every month. from her social security check. How do i get them to stop taking this out? They told me that my mother has to come in for interview. My mother has dementia and she is unable to comprehend these thing now. I have POA on her. So what can I do?

The charge is for Medicare part B. If you stop paying for part B, your mother will not have full health insurance. She will have to pay for those services out of her money. If she needs to re-apply for part B, she may have to pay a penalty. Go to medicare.gov for details.
