Re: Estate stolen before probate

A petition will need to be filed in the Orphans' Court in Maryland (which has jurisdiction over probate of estates) in order to have these issues considered by the court. This needs to be done within prescribed time limits under Maryland law. The services of an experienced estates/wills/probate attorney should be obtained for this. If I can be of any help to you, contact me as I would be pleased to provide legal/tax support.
