Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Maryland

Two liens have been filed against small estate. There is no money, but there is 1/2 interest in property. We are in process of selling property. Are these two liens entitled to collect interest up until we are able to settle with them?

Judgment liens accrue interest at the rate of 10% - this is set by statute. If such liens attach to real estate, they must be paid in full before the title can be transferred. Other kinds of claims against the estate generally do NOT accrue interest, so it is important to figure out what kind of "liens" might be at issue here.
