Can a life estate be changed in Maryland? My mother wants to take names off of hers.

A life estate with powers can be changed by your mother without anyone else being involved. A life estate without powers must be signed by your mother and the beneficiaries. So a reading of the current deed is critical. Also only an attorney can prepare or supervise the preparation of a deed in MD
