Take Name off Property Deed/Title
How do I remove someone's name from a property deed/title? The individual assents to the removal.

Re: Take Name off Property Deed/Title
Simply execute a new deed transferring title from the joint owners to the individual and then record that with your county land records department. There is a form that accompanies the deed -- the Land Instrument Intake Sheet -- where you indicate it is a "not arms-length" transaction.
