Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

My father just passed away in another state, I called my brother's cell phone to talk to him, my sister answered (whom I do not speak to). She started harrassing me about my dad having called and I hadn't answered. I did not know he had called (no messages). I then got upset about that, in addition to being upset at my dad's passing. I retaliated by saying things I shouldn't have. I now believe she would have the audacity to try to charge me with threatening her. It was one call, not made to her, but to my brother. I later called my brother to pass on an apology for being upset (I still do not want to speak with her). So my question is, can she take legal action against me even though I did not call her directly?

Even though your sister was not the intended recipient of your phone call, you can still be charged if you threatened to commit a crime against her.
