what does grounds of termination mean? and what happens if it says it on a contract?

If this is an employment issue the companies generally have a personel manual that outline the reasons for termination and the process.Note to protect the company the manual general indicates that this can be changed at the will of the company. This precludes the employee from claiming he/she had rights under the manual. The main time a company has a problem is is their action violates laws like anti-discrimination and whistle-blower laws
